My main interest is shooting and reloading, followed by exploring in my four wheel drive/s. I also spent a little time with
the Australian Army and this has continued to influence me in personal qualities, interest in service rifle and pistol shooting
and recording this period of my life.
My Favorites
Favorite Band or Musician: Slim Dusty Favorite TV show: Sienfield Favorite movie: Ladder 49

My Hobbies
main interests centre around shooting and ethical hunting and related areas such as reloading and bullet casting (called 'boolits'
when you make them yourself). I compete in lots of target shooting disciplines, being a jack of all disciplines, but master
of none. I prefer to shoot realistic and traditional guns, not fancy race guns. My first love is the rifle, probably because
my first job in the army was as a rifleman/ scout/ rocket launcher (bazooka style) operator, but most of my time there was
spent carrying a rifle around being a scout or doing recon patrols. I went to officer's school and graduated as a Second Leiutenant
at the tender age of 20 years and five days. No brain, no pain I suppose. It is a shame I didn't get there a bit slower, as
I feel that I would have appreciated better what an honour it was to lead a troop of cavalry soldiers or a platoon of infantry,
which is where I ended up in the army. It was a positive experience for me and has since ensured that I have been an ethical,
positive and effective leader ever since. I am currently employed as a Commissioned Officer in corrections.
The army
gave me the taste for 4wds, and made me always want a Landrover (foolish man). I have a 1967 Series 11a long wheel base hardtop,
with a 265Cubic inch Chrysler motor. This is just about sorted, but it has been a real money pit, for not a lot of result. My
current ride is a 1991 Nissan Patrol Station Wagon. This is a brilliant vehicle and gets pointed at the muddy stuff regularly.
It is due to do some work in the Australian outback soon and some beach work on Fraser Island. I will also fit in a few hunting
trips to the high country in Victoria.
